Filming Essex County Council’s You Make the Difference Awards 2024/25

The evening started with a warm welcome from the council’s leadership, who expressed their gratitude for the employees’ exceptional contributions. Awards were then presented in various categories, including innovation, sustainability and culture. Each recipient’s story was a powerful reminder of the positive difference that dedicated public servants make in their communities.

As the official video production partner for the event, the Essex HR Shared Services team collaborated closely with ECC’s Employee Experience team to understand their vision. With a detailed production schedule planned out in advance of the event, we were fully prepared to fulfil the brief and ready to capture every memorable moment. Working seamlessly alongside a photographer, we carefully positioned ourselves to capture the best video footage without interrupting the event. Additionally, we set up specific filming locations to film interviews with awardees and council leadership for inclusion in the final highlights video.

After the event, our team worked diligently to edit and render the video within one week. The final product was an engaging, three-minute highlights video that showcases the event’s best moments. We are proud to have played a part in documenting this prestigious event and look forward to being involved in the future.

In just one week, the video gained c1,000 views online and continued to attract attention, allowing the celebrations to extend beyond the event. This meant that everyone, from nominees to winners, could proudly showcase their remarkable achievements.
