By embracing new technologies and creative solutions, we stay ahead of the curve and ensure our customers benefit from the latest advancements.
For example, we launched the first-of-its-kind Essex Secondment Jobs Portal in partnership with Jobs Go Public. This innovative platform reduces competition for talent and creates valuable development opportunities within local government, showcasing our commitment to pioneering solutions that address real-world challenges.
Employment vetting is the process of screening a potential employee’s background and qualifications to assess their suitability for a job. This process ensures they possess the necessary skills, experience and character to perform the role effectively and meet the company and legislative standards.
A DBS check is a background check that employers use to verify a candidate’s criminal record. DBS stands for Disclosure and Barring Service, the public body that performs the checks.
e-Bulk, or electronic Bulk, is a system used primarily in the UK for the electronic submission of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks on behalf of Registered Bodies (RB’s). It allows RB’s to submit multiple DBS check applications in bulk, rather than individually, which can save time and streamline the process. This system is particularly useful for large RB’s that need to process a high volume of checks.
An identity service provider (IDSP) is a provider of ID verification services. IDSPs are sometimes referred to as ‘identity providers’.
